Almost There

The greenhouses are really starting to fill up. Greenhouses 2, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 10 are practically bursting at the seams. Everyone here at EBF can't wait for spring to get here, when it will be warm in the greenhouses and out. Until then, we hope you enjoy these updates of what's going on at the farm.

Pansies and violas are just starting to bloom in greenhouse #3.

Purple and white bacopa plugs- wait until you see
them in baskets!

Aren't these coleus just beautiful?!

Greenhouse #2 filled up fast with dahlias, new guinea impatiens,
grasses and baskets of fuschia.

Right now, greenhouse #5 is full of perennial 4 packs, but they will
soon be moved outside, once it warms up a little.

All week we've been transplanting vegetable plugs. Here are
just a few trays of our lettuce.

As you can see, it's getting crowded in greenhouse #9. Our perennial
gallons  are very happy in here.

And lastly, greenhouse #10 is home to our Proven Winner 4" pots
 and hanging baskets.

A little something to look forward to in the coming months.

Window box full of calibrachoa, verbena, petunias and lobelia.

Violas, petunnias, cleomes, grasses and plumbago.

They don't call it a butterfly bush for nothing.

Captivating coleus, with a hint of calibrachoa.

Positively purple verbena, angelonia, calibrachoa and ageratum.

A burst of baptisia.

The barn, bursting with color!

Getting ready to uncurl...

Soft colors of columbine and lamb's ear.

Good morning glory!

Heliotrope, nicotiana, coleus, ageratum, salvia, neiremburgia, dianthus and annual baby's breath.

Sticking Cuttings

George and Crew sticking cuttings in the greenhouse. After we'd planted the
cuttings, they were put on a heating bench and had a light mist applied to them.
